NEWater Visit

  1. What are the 3 key takeaways from today’s visit?
Water requires many stages of purification before it can be drank.
Although 2/3 of the Earth is covered with water, only less than 10% of the water is clean enough to drink.
The government is planning 2/3 of Singapore will be contributed to local catchment and water industries.
  1. Name 2 concepts that you have learnt today during the visit.
The process of Micro-filtration and its function.
The uses of Reverse Osmosis and its uses.
  1. What is the 1 interesting thing that you have learnt today?
It is impossible for any germs, bacteria or harmful nutrients/minerals to get to the final stage of NEWater.
  1. What are the things that you can do to help with water conservation in Singapore?
Use as less water as possible.
Reuse water.
Use water wisely, not recklessly.
